In June and October I made 2 food shooting in the best Italian restaurant in Ankara, Peperoncino.

The chef , and co-owner, is Daniel Evangelista, is a very good Italian Chef with more than 15 years of expertise of Italian food around the world.
All the food was prepared at the moment of shooting, so all fresh and... delicious.:)

When you shoot food , the shape and the composition is always very important. But if you' re shooting a 'just prepared dish' , you may see the difference. You can even “taste” it from the photo .
Bu etkiyi .sağlamak için, kompozisyonda kullanılacak tüm materyalin( uygun şarap, uygun şişe, doğru seçilmiş servis ve masa gibi) önceden hazırlanmış olması gerekiyor.
To achieve this your set have to be ready and all the different stuff for the table (like right wine, right bottle, right table service ) have to be ready or near you.
All the goal here was to have the food fresh, tasty, cool and attractive just looking at the photos.
The shooting sessions was so good, and the staff of the restaurant helped a lot . The only problem with this kind of shooting is that... I like to eat and this kind of jobs are something like ' paradiso' for me.:)
- 2 Multiblitz 300 watt (şemsiye ile)- 1 Hensel 500 watt (softbox ile)
- 1 Hensel 500 watt with softbox
- 2 Multiblitz 300 watt with white umbrella
Camera was a Canon 5D Mark II, tethered with a laptop, to check immediately the result on large screen. A tripod was with us too of course.
Post production:
Canon DPP for white balance and develop in Jpg. Photoshop for final post production, in this case use very few of it.
